Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The AC unit located in the backyard area was observed to be uncovered and accessible to children in care.”
“Two children's admission forms were missing the parents' names and addresses.”
“There was no documentation of fire safety emergency drills, fire extinguisher checks, smoke detector checks, and carbon monoxide detector testing made available for review during the inspection.”
“The operation did not have the annual certification on file that the operation has reviewed the recall notices from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.”
“The first aid kit was missing a thermometer”
“I observed that the home did not have a smoke detector in the living room, which is the area that the children use during care.”
