Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There were11 children ages 18 months and older present at the operation. This exceeded the maximum ratio for that age by 5 children.”
“The caregiver had a child resting in a space containing hazardous materials.”
“The operation had 11 children present at the operation. This exceeds the home capacity by 2 children.”
“Medication was not locked up and accessible to children in care.”
“A household member lived within the home without an initial background check being submitted after turning 14 years of age.”
“The operation exceeded the home capacity.”
“The assistant caregiver did not have an employment affidavit on file.”
“A child was at the operation without immunization record on file.”
“The Registered home was above the home ratio allowance.”
“It was observed 6 children present, five children under 17months old and one 4 years old.”
“The applicant needs to complete trainings for Discipline and Guidelines and Child and Growth Development.”
“The AC unit located in the home backyard must be covered with a screen or guard around it.”
