Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“1 of the children's files did not contain updated immunization records at the time of inspection.”
“One child was missing one immunization from their file during the inspection.”
“The fire extinguisher in one of the transportation vehicles was out of service. This was corrected at inspection when the director replaced the extinguisher in the van with a serviced one.”
“There is sufficient evidence to determine that the childcare center's daily operation, when transporting children, was not administered in compliance with the minimum standards.”
“Based on interviews and documentation, it was determined that children have been transported without being properly secured in a safety seat system.”
“There is video evidence to determine that children under the age of 12 have been placed in the front seat by operation staff while transporting.”
“The infant room was out of ratio by one child. This was corrected at inspection when a child was picked up by a parent.”
