Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“In one classroom, one chemical was not labelled. In another classroom, chemcials were accessible to children. Chemicals were located in a cabinet without a child lock. This was corrected at inspection.”
“A caregiver did not use good judgment when the caregiver pulled two children by their leg to separate them during an altercation. It was not an immediately risk. The children were not in immediately danger or harm but could have been injured by the result of this teacher action. A less physical method could have been used in this situation.”
“14 of 15 infant feeding instriction were not up to date.”
“The operation had not conducted a fire drill for January 2022. This was corrected during the inspection.”
