Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“All drivers, including both directors, providing transportation had expired transportation training since May 26 of 2024.”
“One of the transportation vans was missing a fire extinguisher.”
“Three day care vans did not have a child safety alarm installed.”
“A staff's file did not have a signed and notarized employee affidavit.”
“An infant was laying in an infant rocker for more than 15 minutes. This was corrected at inspection when the infant was removed.”
“Children were not served water during breakfast.”
“Children did not wash their hands before eating breakfast.”
“A television at the operation was not anchored. This was corrected at inspection when the television was securely anchored. A photo was taken.”
“A child's file did not have a signed health statement.”
