Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A bookshelf was not anchored to the wall and as a result it was tipped over and injured a child.”
“This standard was found deficient as a result of a DFPS investigation. During inspection visit the infants were left unattended while staff was in the office across the hall.”
“The operation is missing a food allergy emergency plan for one child whose record was reviewed during the inspection.”
“A caregiver was present in the classroom with children before receiving a cleared background check.”
“A caregiver popped a child on the mouth after the child bit another child. Note: the caregiver is no longer employed at the operation.”
“A caregiver did not use positive statements or guidance to direct a child who bit another child.”
“One infant feeding instruction was not updated in the last 30 days.”
