Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Operation's franchise tax has a current status showing: Involuntarily Ended.”
“During the inspection the operation did not have a current fire inspection report to review.”
“During the inspection the emergency drills were not current.”
“A caregiver was present in a classroom with children without a cleared background check.”
“The operation is not preparing enough food for children to be able to have second portions when requested.”
“The operation is not currently following lesson plans.”
“Based on information gathered during the course of the investigation it was determined the director failed to ensure the operation was meeting compliance. The director was aware repairs were needed and did not get them corrected until the investigation was started.”
“The operation is not following the meal patterns established by the USDA. The operation is currently serving some form of frozen food such as pizza rolls and chips or taquitos and chips.”
“The operation was having their fire alarm system installed and moved the children next door to the church without notifying CCR.”
“The walls in one of the classrooms has exposed drywall and nails that is accessible to children.”
“A bottle of cleaning solution was observed left on the windowsill and accessible to children.”
“One child did not have a health statement from a health-care professional on file.”
“Outdoor active play equipment did not have approved loose-fill or unitary surfacing.”
“Operational policies were incomplete, as they were missing the following: -Procedures for suspension/expulsion -Safe Sleep policy -Procedures for applying insect repellent/sunscreen -Abuse/Neglect information -Promotion of indoor and outdoor physical activity”
“An infant was observed during feeding in a high chair without being strapped in with the fasteners provided on the high chair.”
