Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The evacuation diagrams located in both classrooms does not include the designated location outside the operation they wil relocate to for safety and does not include the area that the children will relocate for severve weather indoors.”
“The operation's operational policies were missing procedures for supporting inclusive services to children with special needs.”
“Annual Fire Inspection is not current.”
“There was not ample space for the caregivers or children to walk between the napping mats in the Infant room during nap time.”
“The AM snack of graham crackers was observed being served directly on the table.”
“The exit door in the toddler classroom does not easily open; the door sticks and requires force to open the door.”
“Operational policy did not have a statement regarding a plan to ensure physical activity occurs on days when extreme weather conditions prohibit or limit outdoor play.”
“The operational policy lacked a statement informing the parent that operation has a comfortable, designated area to breast feed. Additionally, the operational policy lacked a statement which informs parents that they have the right to breastfeed or provide breast milk for their child while in care.”
“Operational policy did not have a statement indicating the the duration of planned physical activity both indoor and outdoor.”
