Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There were no smoke dtectors observed in both rooms used by children during the inspection.”
“A 14-year old house member did not have an approved background check to review during the inspection.”
“Outdoor play area was observed having hazards including bags of lime, a grill, and a pit/axe accessible to children during the inspection.”
“The operation did not have an up to date product certification form.”
“The fire extinguisher was not mounted on the wall.”
“There was a metal cooking pot in the kitchen with approximately nine inches of water in it.”
“There was a jug of cleaning solution next to the toilet in the bathroom used for care. This was corrected when the owner removed it from the bathroom.”
