Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Two of six children's records reviewed did not have health statements.”
“Three health and safety required trainings were not available for review.”
“A play structure with a slide did not have the required 6 feet use zone all around.”
“A cat inside the home was missing a health statement on file.”
“Three of four children's records reviewed did not have health statements.”
“A large flat screen television was on top of a television stand and not secured.”
“The first aid kit did not contain a thermometer.”
“One of four children's records reviewed did not have an update immunization record on file.”
“The large outdoor AC unit does not have any safeguards around it making it accessible to children.”
“Some areas of the fence that encloses the backyard measures between 3.6-3.8 inches tall.”
“The pet dog in the home was missing a health statement on file.”
