Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The primary caregiver did not report an employee being locked outside the home while children were left inside unsupervised.”
“An employee who had unsupervised access to children in care did not have fingerprinting results on file.”
“Primary Caregiver allowed employees to care for children in her absence.”
“At the time of the incident, an employee did not have auditory or visual awareness of children inside the home for approximately 1-3 minutes.”
“Two of four files reviewed did not have a health statement.”
“Based on the information found during the investigation the home has been over ratio.”
“Based on information found during the investigation, one child in care has had contact with a chicken.”
“Caregiver did not wash her hands after changing a diaper. When brought to the directors attention immediately washed her hands. Hand sanitizer was being used instead of soap and water.”
“The children were watching television including da 20 month old. When it was brought to the directors attention the television was turned off.”
“The provider was three rose bushes with thrones in the front yard where the children will be playing. This was corrected during the inspection when the provider installed a knee height barriers around the area where the roses bushes are planted.”
“Unitary surfacing was not installed completing over the concrete play area under or around the play structure.”
