Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The director contacted me and stated that a fire inspection was not conducted.”
“Based on the information received from a DFPS investigation, staff did not ensure that a Scentsy warmer was out of reach of children.”
“Based on the information received from a DFPS investigation, the staff did not use good judgment by removing the top from the Scentsy warmer causing a child in care to get burned.”
“The caregiver has taken a training on playground safety and supervision. The director also had a meeting with the caregiver and other staff to ensure that caregivers do a count after exiting the playground and lining the children along the fence and putting a name to face while counting. Caregivers also page on their walkie talkies their final count when back inside of the classroom. The admin at the front desk has a count for each classroom and are able to verify.”
“The operation did not have the most recent gas inspection report available.”
“The operation did not have the sanitation report to review during the inspection.”
“I observed wooden pillars with sharp edges accessible to children in care.”
