Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The fire extinguisher expired in July of 2026.”
“A caregiver was missing date of employment. This was corrected at inspection when date of employment was added to file during inspection. Updated caregiver information form was sent to operation.”
“A child's admission form was missing emergency contact informtion.”
“Two children were observed in a room not approved by licensing.”
“Primary and substitute caregivers did not have copies of photo identification on file.”
“Substitue caregiver did not have employment affidavit on file.”
“First-aid kit was missing a thermometer.”
