Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There were not health statements for the three dogs at the home.”
“The fenced outdoor activity space only has 1 of 2 required exits.”
“The emergency preparedness plan did not include the name and address of an alternate shelter away from the home that will be used if needed.”
“Two of the rooms the children are sleeping in do not have smoke detectors installed.”
“The fenced outdoor area had a bucket of standing water and tree debris. The playroom area had some household equipment type items that needed to be cleared out or put up higher out of the way so as to be inaccessible to the children.”
“The operational policies did not include the duration of physical activity. The safe sleep, discipline, and medication policies also needed to inlcude a bit more information.”
“The provider provided information that they are providing care that requires regulation from CCR.”
