Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection I observed a larger planter filled with water and fish in the backyard. This was corrected when the provider removed the water from the planter.”
“During the inspection I observed a knife on the counter in the kitchen as well as a can of disinfectant and a container of Lysol wipes on the window seal accessible to children in care. This was corrected when the primary caregiver removed the items.”
“The primary caregiver needs to specify how infants under 24 months will be evacuated from the home in case of an emergency.”
