Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The fire extinguisher in the RCCH had not been serviced and was inoperable.”
“Four children in care did not have health statements on file during the inspection.”
“In the backyard, there were opened cigarettes, a lighter and cigarettes butts in an ash tray on the table. There was a propane tank near the patio area and a bottle of motor oil sitting on the ground,”
“The children currently in care did not have complete files. Immunizations and completed enrollment sheets need to be updated.”
“A swing set located in the backyard did not meet use zone requirements due to the close proximity to the wooden fence.”
“The first aid kit was incomplete. There were no scissors, tweezers, themometer or cottonball.”
“The operation did not have written emergency prepardness procedures for review during the inspection.”
“One side of the wooden fence for the outdoor play area had two slates missing allowing space for a child to pass through.”
