Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Yearly service is needed for fire extinguishers.”
“The times and length of evacuation were not documented for the fire, sheltering, or lock down drills.”
“The emergency evacuation and relocation diagram was not posted in the classroom.”
“The operation did not have a system for storing each children's belongings.”
“The emergency preparedness plan was found to be missing required information; How children will be evacuated or relocated to the designated safe area or alternate shelter, including specific procedures for evacuating and relocating children who have limited mobility, or who otherwise may need assistance in an emergency, such as children who have mental, visual, or hearing impairments.”
