Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Caregiver did not have the required pre-service training.”
“Out of the six staff files two caregivers did not have current CPR/First Aid”
“Out of the 10 children files two children did not have the required health statemet.”
“A caregiver allowed a child to be released to the parent without making visual contact of the parent to verify exchange of care and that proper check in/out procedures were followed.”
“Water bottles for children on the playground were stored on a dirty concrete surface located on the ground.”
“Two opening classes were found to be out of ratio with at least four children over ratio. There were 22 children in one class with one teacher, specified age group was 4yr. There were 19 children in one class with one teacher and the specified age group was 3yr.”
