Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The fire extinguisher was not mounted.”
“There was no thermometer in the first aid it; it was broken per the provider.”
“The background check fee was due 12/02/2024.”
“The documentation for the dog in the home was not available for review.”
“There was a one fire extingusher in the home that was not in working condition.”
“There were cleaning supplies in the restroom cabinet under the sink accessible to children.”
“The smoke alarm was still in it's original box.”
