Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation did not have last inspection posted as required by minimum standards.”
“The assistant caregiver was present at the home with direct access to children before receiving a background check eligibility letter. This was corrected when the caregiver left the child care home.”
“The operation has not conducted a fire drill since children were enrolled in August 2024.”
“The operation did not have documentation for emergency drills, fire extinguishers or smoke detectors.”
“The operation has a free swinging rope swing.”
“Three out of four children records were missing required admission information, immunizations, and health statements.”
