Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A caregiver aggressively grabbed/pulled a child by the arm during a disciplinary incident at the facility. The caregiver was terminated for her actions. The owner and director have required remaining staff to take additional trainings on positive discipline and guidance to mitigate risk and prevent future incidents.”
“An infant was left in a classroom unsupervised for approximately 20 minutes. The infant was uninjured and experienced no apparent distress as a result of the incident. The caregiver responsible was terminated. The owner and director have required remaining staff to complete additional trainings on active supervision to mitigate risk and prevent future incidents.”
