Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The operation failed to maintain the required child/caregiver ratio when the number of infants in care exceeded the number permitted for the caregivers providing supervision.”
“The operation failed to notify Child Care Regulation of a director change after the previous director was no longer serving in that role as of April.”
“6 children under the age of 18 months where observed in a classroom where ratio was reduced by half for naptime.”
“A caregiver used prohibited punishments by requiring children to do "wall sits", sit against the wall with their legs at a 90-degree angle.”
“Operation does not have a current fire inspection, last one expired January of 20226.”
“Operation does not have a current health inspection, the last one expired January 20206.”
“A 3 month old infant was observed resting in their crib swaddled. This was corrected at inspection with the caregiver removing the swaddle.”
“Based on statements obtained, it was determined that an infant under the age of 12 months was placed in a crib on their stomach and did not have a sleep exception form on file.”
