Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During a record review, 10 children's files were reviewed. 2 were missing current immunization records. This was corrected at inspection when the director called the parents and updated records were sent over via email.”
“A possible situation of child-on-child touching was brought to the operations attention, and the operation did not provide an incident report within 48 hours.”
“Through a DFPS investigation, it was found that a caregiver was yelling at children for discipline.”
“Two children were putting objects on and in a child's clothing. The caregiver was not aware it was occurring and did not intervene.”
“The month of November was missing a fire drill documentation. This was corrected at inspection when the childcare center completed a fire drill during inspection.”
“The operation had one life saving device. One more is needed.”
“All caregivers and director need water safety training.”
“A gas leak test was completed, however, documentation has not been received and available for review.”
“There was one caregiver present without an active background check. This was corrected at inspection when the caregiver was sent home.”
