Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“At time of inspection a caregiver stated they had 16 children when the class had 13.”
“At time of inspection, a child was observed to be blocking an entrance/exit of a classroom. NOTE: This was corrected at inspection.”
“One child was sleeping on a cot that was double stacked by another cot.”
“The operation added a new monkey bar climbing dome to their outdoor play area that is not authorized and did not have loose fill.”
“Ten out of ten children's files reviewed during inspection did not have the immunization records. Note: Corrected at inspection when the director obtained the records.”
