Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There was not a notarized affidavit on file for the assistant caregiver.”
“At the time of the inspection, there were no fire drills documented for January or February.”
“At the time of the inspection, the operation was observed to be out of ratio. Note: This was corrected when a second caregiver arrived.”
“During the inspection, there was an electrical cord loose in the backyard. There was a board missing on the fence that left two nails protruding. A child lock on a cabinet had fallen down, leaving the cabinet open with cleaning materials in it. Note: the cleaning products were moved at the time of the inspection.”
