Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the investigation inspection, it was found that the operation caring for 1 child under 17 months and 6 children under 5. This put the operation out of ratio for a registered child care home.”
“The operation had a person providing care to children at the operation during business hours in licensed space without a active background check. The operation also had two adults visiting the home for more than a week that did not have background check.”
“Two outlets located near the backdoor and near the master bedroom in the childcare area had no outlet covers. The operator did replace these when this was pointed out.”
