Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The gated, exit door in the playground area has an opening and the kitchen with an oven is accessible to children.”
“The caregiver did not know the ages (school age) of the children in care.”
“Information about the vehicle was not on the operation's vehicle used for transportation. This was corrected during the inspection when the Director placed a sign inside the vehicle.”
“Several ant beds were observed on the playground. A picture was taken.”
“The operation's vehicle did not have a fire extinguisher.”
“Fire safety documentation was not available. The Director stated this has been completed, but not documented.”
“Several outlets were observed to be uncovered during the inspection. This was corrected when the Director added outlet covers.”
“The operation's policies were missing information addressing whether unassigned epinephrine pens will be utilized at the operation. This was corrected by the director updating the policies in the handbook.”
