Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Two out of four sinks in the operation were functional. One portable sink did not have running water due to needing water in a diaper changing room. The second portable sink required a part to be replaced. NOTE: One portable sink had water added during the inspection. The second room had access to an additional sink in an adjacent bathroom.”
“The grass on the playground was in need of cutting. The height of the grass had started covering parts of the play equipment.”
“The front restroom off the prek room did not have paper towels accessible to the children. The paper towel holder needed new batteries and the roll of available towels sat out of the reach of the children on top of a 3/4 wall. NOTE: A battery was replaced in the paper towel dispenser during the inspection.”
