Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Activity plans were not posted in two rooms at time of inspection.”
“Reviewing medication for children, there was an EpiPenn that was expired.”
“In classrooms for toddlers there was paint peeling off the wall at children's reach and an exposed wall under a sink that was open and exposed water pipes were visible. This was corrected during inspection, a board panel was replaced to cover that area. In the preschool classroom, there were 4 nap time mats that were torn, they were replaced during inspection.”
“The small climbing structure in the outdoor play area did not have the required six feet distance surrounding that was needed. This was corrected during inspection.”
“The tarp under the loose-fill was exposed under the climbing structure in the outdoor play area. It was corrected during the inspection.”
