Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There were no operational policies or a parent handbook available for review.”
“The AC unit located in the backyard area was observed to be uncovered and accessible to children in care.”
“The first aid kit was missing a thermometer.”
“The operation was observed to have a fire extinguisher 1A-10 BC instead of the required 3A-40BC fire extinguisher.”
“The playroom contained hazardous items, including a washing machine, dryer, and freezer that were accessible to children in care, posing a safety risk.”
