Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A water fountain was in the outdoor play area in an area that would be accessible to children.”
“The entire emergency preparedness plan was not available for review.”
“Uncovered outlet covers were observed in the room that will be used by children. This was corrected when the caregiver added outlet covers.”
“The parent handbook did not include information regarding animals in the home.”
“The parent handbook did not include all of the information necessary for notifying parents of their rights.”
“Hazardous chemicals were observed on the front porch as well as in the hallway accessible to children.”
