Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection the floors of the bathrooms were observed with dirt and dust, dust and dirt was observed on the ceiling fans and on the vents in the classrooms. A diaper changing mat was observed with dirt on it and another diaper changing mat was observed with rips and tares.”
“During the inspection, a hole was observed in the vent in the school age classroom. Protruding staples were found on the walls in the classrooms accessible to children in care. Adhesive tape that was easily peelable was found to be used in the calming area of the toddler room.”
“A caregiver was observed alone with a group of children without a cleared background check. This was corrected when the caregiver was relieved and left the operation.”
