Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Infants not yet on table food did not have updated feeding instructions.”
“There were 8 chidlren with one caregiver when the specified age group was 12 to 17 months. This was corrected at inspection when another caregiver was placed in the classroom.”
“Five outlets did not have outlet covers. Note: This was corrected at inspection when the outlets were covered.”
“Three bikes on the playground had broken pedals. Note: This was corrected at inspection when the bikes were removed from the playground.”
“Two children with diagnosed food allergies do not have a completed allergy emergency plan available for review.”
“The operation had a missing bolt on the play structures tunnel.”
“The operation had a box with trains tracks that was cracked presenting a pinching hazard. This was corrected at inspection when the director removed the toys from one box and put it in a new box.”
“The operation did not have their annual fire inspection conducted this year.”
“Five of six files reviewed had not been updated since admission date.”
“Two new employees do not have current CPR/First Aid certifications.”
“One of six files did not contain a healthcare statement.”
“Operation failed to notify Licensing of a reportable illness within the required timeframe.”
