Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Two children were missing health statements in their files.”
“Five out of ten staff's records were missing proof of education.”
“A person was present without a valid background check during inspection. Note: Person left center during inspection.”
“A 6-year-old child was left on the playground for 6 minutes on January 17th.”
“One staff member did not have her First Aid/CPR card on file.”
“The last sanitation inspection conducted was 01/08/2021.”
“10 of the 10 staff records reviewed were missing the following topics of training: Administering medication, Preventing and responding to emergencies due to food or an allergic reaction, Understanding building and physical premises safety, and Handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials.”
“Two classrooms had cots that did not allow access to the walkway and obstructed the exit doors from having a clear path.”
