Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One child in care with a food allergy did not have a food allergy plan on file.”
“Primary caregiver does not have proof of training in food allergies, hazardous materials, or medication administration.”
“Operation did not have a completed consumer product safety form 2885 available for review. Form availabe was completed 02/2022. This was corrected at inspection when primary caregiver viewed the CPSC website and completed form 2885.”
“Two child's records did not contain parent's address. This was corrected at inspection when parent's entered their home address on the admission form at pick up time.”
“Operation does not have an activity plan available for review.”
“One child's records did not have a health statement signed by a medical professional.”
“The outdoor play area has a play castle with a slide that is cracked at the top creating a shear point and pinch hazard.”
