Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During an investigation, it was found that a caregiver failed to show patience with a child in care when she abruptly picked the child up by her upper arms and placed her in a chair and then walked away from the crying child.”
“There was no annual training documentation available for review regarding the following required content: handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials, administering medication, and preventing and responding to a food or an allergic reaction.”
“A four-month-old infant was observed to be swaddled while asleep on a floor bed. The infant was immediately unswaddled when addressed.”
