Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Evidence was obtained and determined that a child was left unsupervised in the hallway outside the classroom door.”
“During the inspection, information was obtained that a child crawled under the fence. The child was on the other side of the fence while the class and caregiver was on the playground.”
“Based on the information obtained, a caregiver left a child unsupervised in the daycare restroom.”
“It was determined during interviews two caregivers left a child unsupervised on the playground.”
“The operation had an expired Epi Pen for a child in care.”
