Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The sanitation inspection was not available for review during the time of inspection.”
“One caregiver completed first aid and CPR but did not have a copy available for review.”
“During the monitoring inspection it was observed that two infants in the infant room were sleeping in restrictive devices. There was a caregiver present in the room available to move them upon request.”
“During the motoring inspection it was observed that there was a (approx) 10 ft tall shelf in one of the toddler classes that was not mounted to the wall and if pulled on created a tipping hazard.”
“During the monitoring inspection it was observed that an 2 month old infant in the infant room was sleeping in a restrictive device.”
“There were 9 caregivers that did not have current in person CPR training with use of a manikin.”
“A 3 year old child was observed sitting in a high chair for time-out. The child was removed from the high chair during the inspection and went back to their classroom.”
“The childcare facility did not report communicable illnesses to Child Care Regulation within the required timeframe.”
