Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“During the inspection, three of classrooms had cleaning supplies accessible to children in care. The supplies were immediately relocated to spaces out of the reach of children.”
“Management did not ensure a monthly fire drill was conducted the following months: November 2024, December 2024, and January 2025.”
“During the walk through I observed an electrical outlet that was accessible to children. The director corrected the deficiency at inspection.”
“I observed while reviewing personnel files that one of the caregivers did not have current CPR training.”
“I observed while reviewing personnel files that one of the caregivers did not have current first aid training.”
“During the inspection, one item from one food group was being served at the morning snack time. On the monthly snack menu, one item from one food group was listed on the menu. This was corrected at inspection when the operation updated their snack menu to reflect that food items served from at least two of the five food groups will be served.”
