Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Animal feces was observed in the back play space. This was corrected when the provider cleaned the area.”
“Safety hazards were observed in the back yard play space: the rear fence has an entrapment hazards underneath the exposed metal fence, the storage shed has a door that needs to be secured to prevent the children from entering. This was corrected during the inspection”
“Toys structures were broken and had open pinch points.”
“Fire and disaster drills had not been conducted or documented. One drill was conducted during the inspection, bringing it into compliance.”
“The provider did not have planned activities documented for the children.”
“Cleaning supplies and paint was observed in an unlocked cabinet in a bathroom used by the children.”
“Operational policies wer not in compliance with the minimum standards.”
