Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A baby walker was observed in the classroom. Note: The baby walker was recmoved from the classroom during the inspection.”
“The family room using by children was clustered. Pictures taken and showed the caregiver.”
“The fire extinguisher was on the kitchen counter. It was not mounted.”
“The caregiver did not practice fire drill monthly since 12/2023.”
“Children's products certification form was not availble to review during inspection time.”
“It was observed in the backyard dog excrement and areas with trash.”
“It was observed in the backyard a storage room and area wiht a open gate with hazard materials accessible to children.”
“It was observed in the bathroom that children use, cleaning supplies under the sink accessible to children. It was corrected at the inspection time when the provider removed them and put these away from children.”
“Two children's files did not have a statement of the child s special care needs.”
