Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“One child's file did not have updated information regarding the Dtap. The child is two years-old and shows only two vaccinations given before he was 12 months old.”
“There was a plastic bouquet of flowers in the infant classroom in a basket on the shelves that was accessible to a mobile infant. The end of the stem was observed to be sharp. “It was determined in an investigation that good judgment was not utilized by a caregiver during an infant's feeding, when the caregiver was observed to be aggressive by forcefully inserting the bottle into the infant's mouth.”
“It was observed that a portion of the fence was not secure between the big playground and the basketball playground, allowing children to put their bodies through it. Additionally, on the basketball playground, a section of the fence leading to the other side, where the apartment complex is, was also not secure, permitting children to climb through to the other side.”
