Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A teacher with schoolers was left alone with children without an eligibility letter. The provider had the teacher leave the center until her background check clears.”
“A current employee does not have an eligibility letter. Teacher was in the classroom with the 6 to 7 year olds. This was corrected during the inspection when the check was re-ran.”
“The provider did not input the number of employees that left in 2024.”
“The video games that were observed being played were not educational.”
“The children were observed playing the video game, X-Men, which showed the characters fighting.”
“Based upon the information obtained during the DFPS investigation, there was sufficient evidence to validate one individual being present at the childcare facility in a caregiver role without an active background check.”
