Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The sink in the infant room was not operational. The infants were not having their hands washed with soap and water. This was corrected at the inspection when the infants were moved to a classroom with a proper working sink.”
“The diaper changing mat in the infant room contained a hole in it.”
“A 4 month old infant was observed sleeping in a bouncer.”
“During the monitoring inspection it was observed that there was a combined class of 21 children, ranging in age of 4 months - 8 years.”
“During the monitoring inspection there were children under 2 years old observed watching TV.”
“During the monitoring inspection it was observed that a caregiver did not wash their hands upon arriving at the center.”
“During the inspection it was observed that a child arrived at the operation and was served breakfast before washing their hands.”
“During the investigation there was enough evidence to support a caregiver had grabbed a child as a form of discipline. This caregiver is no longer present at the operation.”
