Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“It was noticed that the health statement was not available in 1 pre-school age child s record.”
“It was noted that one of the children s records was missing the physician s information. Note: During the inspection, the caregiver obtains this information and enters it on the admission forms.”
“One child in care did not have an immunization record available for review.”
“There were children under the age of 2 years old watching TV. Note: The minimum standards were reviewed with the provider. The TV was turned off immediately.”
“Fire drills were not conducted and documented available for viewing.”
“There were 5 children's records that were incomplete.”
“The assistant caregiver was missing 24 hours of training.”
“The smoke detection system was not in working condition.”
“Transportation training was not completed for the permit holder and the staff.”
