Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Carbon monoxide observed to be not working properly.”
“During the inspection the room where the children were napping was kept very dark and I was not able to see the children without using a flashlight from my phone.”
“While reviewing children files it was found that one out of the two files reviewed did not have authorization to obtain emergency medical care and to transport the child for emergency medical treatment.”
“During the inspection it was found that the operation was providing nighttime care when a child enrolled was dropped off occasionally at 3am.”
“During the inspection it was observed that the operation had not practiced any emergency drills since 09/2023. Fire drills are required monthly and lock down and severe weather drills are required quarterly.”
“During the inspection it was found that the hot tub at the home did not have the protective straps buckled.”
“The home did not have current safety drills documented.”
“There was no affidavit available for review.”
