Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“There were cleaning products in an unlocked bathroom cabinet, accessible to children. i.e. lysol, unmarked spray bottle, lime remover, ty-d-bol tablets NOTE: this was corrected when items were removed from children's reach.”
“There was no written policy/procedure regarding the promotion of indoor/outdoor physical activity; the duration of physical activity; nor the procedure for inclement weather.”
“An adult without an active background check was observed in the home while children were in care.”
“A child in care did not have a signed health statement from a physician within 12 months of admission.”
“A limited amount of use zone to the rear of the swings was observed. The use zone in the front and to the rear of the swings should each measure at least 10 feet.”
