Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“A child with a doctor diagnosed food allergy did not have a food allergy plan on file.”
“The morning and afternoon snack menus are missing one meal component for each day.”
“A gas inspection had not been completed within the last two years.”
“A fire inspection report was not available for review during the inspection. The director reached out to the city of Allen, but the city stated they switched systems and did not have access to the most previous inspection.”
“3 staff members were present at the operation without active background checks. This was corrected at inspection when the site director and program director sent the caregivers home.”
“The last documented fire drill for the summer program was conducted on 4/7/23. No drills were conducted in May or June as of now.”
“At the time of inspection, three camp counselors did not have a copy of their CPR/First Aid certification cards on file in their records for review.”
