Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“Per video staff did not use good judgement in tossing a child, losing their grip resulting in the infant being dropped. The infant received a black eye and carpet burn to their eye.”
“Two water hoses were within reach of children located on the playground. This was corrected during the inspection when the hoses were removed.”
“One food allergy plan has not been signed by the parent.”
“Several staff admitted during interviews they vape or smoke on the premises but not in the daycare.”
“The were 17 children in the three year old class when the proper ratio is no more than 15. The director corrected immediately by putting two children in the older classroom.”
“A caregiver was heard yelling at children to get out of the restroom and sit down.”
“One out of 10 children's records was missing the emergency contact's address. This was corrected during the inspection.”
