Violations
Text reproduced verbatim · Texas Health and Human Services Commission, Child Care RegulationNearly every licensed provider accumulates some. A missing signature and an unlocked medicine cabinet are both “violations”, and they are not the same thing. Look at the class, the pattern over time and how quickly it was corrected — not the count alone.
Class is our grouping of the state’s own weights, reviewed per state. The agency’s own label is always shown beside it.
“The fire drills were documented as shelter/severe weather drills and the shelter/severe weather drills were marked as fire drills.”
“A caregiver at the operation threatened to send a child to the restroom if she did not stop crying.”
“The big door to one transportation vehicle is not working properly as the door does not open from the outside.”
“5 children's files were reviewed and one was missing the health statement at the time of inspection.”
“Based on the information obtained standard was found non-compliance.”
“32 inch televsion was observed in the pre-kinder classroom on top of a shelf not anchored and accessible to the children at the time of inspection.”
“One of four records reviewed was missing an affidavit of employment.”
“One of seven files reviewed is missing a health statement and immunization records.”
“The most recent fire drill was documented on 11/22/2021.”
“Spider webs in toddler play are need to be removed. This was corrected at inspection.”
“The names which labeled the nap mats were removed and need to be replaced. Mats for pre-k children need to be marked to show which side is the floor side and which is the sleeping side.”
